Elephant Toothpaste
At 2:00pm Room five also ls1 went to the school field for the toothpaste experiment.We made a semi circle so everybody could see.There were two scientist they were both ladies.Troy and Viva were volunteered to help make Elephant toothpaste.These were the materials we needed where a cylinder cup,crystals that are called potassium iodide,detergent and soap that can take colours off your clothes.We poured one hundred millimeters of the liquid and then we put drops of detergent. Then we put the crystal’s then the liquid started to change orange the it bursted out foam like mentos and coke.The ladies said that was a chemical reaction.It means that you cant change back.We did the experiment again but with a fizzy bottle.When we put all the ingredients the foam buildided up and up then it blasted out and lots have came out.Some people touched it and it felt hot and when you rubbed it in your hands turnt orange.qaz
