  • People start celebrating new years three weeks before the event
  • For every new year the dates change but mostly before between the 21st of January and also the 20th of January
  • You are not allowed to wash your hair for three days straight
  • If you sweep on new year's day then you will sweep your welf away.
  • After dinner the families play games such as card games or Chinese chest.
  • Earlier on the new year's day children receive lucky red packets that contains sweet or money
  • On the head on the lion there's  
  • Dumplings are served for luck
  • A fortune cookie must be eaten at the end of every meal
  • Chop suey means miscellaneous scraps
  • Lots of creatures are made into chop suey.
  • Chop suey was made in America
  • Chinese eat nearly everything that moves

Trust and Collaboration

Today we learn Trust & Collaboration

We did an activity with Mrs Anderson and Mr Wong.The activity was called sitting circle.
We had to sit on each other's knee and try to stay balanced.
