The Red crowned crane are very different because they have red crown. The Red crowned crane is a type of bird. Red crowned cranes are covered mostly with white feathers except for their red crown. The red crown are on the top of the Red crowned Cranes. The neck, legs, and bottom are mostly covered in black feathers. Red crowned cranes have long beaks. The red Crowned Cranes are 158 cm in tall and 150 cm in length from top and to it’s tail tip.

The family name of the crane  gruidae. the size is up to 5 feet and Nests are built in the marshy areas. Female lays two eggs that will hatch after period of around 30 days. The red crowned cranes have predators and they are Foxes, Bear and Golden Eagles

Species. The Cranes are mates for life. The cranes can also dance that include fast movement of the feet, jumps, stretching and bowing.

Vegetable soup

Retelling: Vegetable Soup

Beginning:Grace said she will make lunch with nan and papa while the rest of the family went out.

Middle: Papa smiled at nonna. ‘‘Papa you can help me wash vegetables while Nonna gets the stocks ready.

Ending:When Grace’s family returned they sat at the dinning table for lunch.Everyone was noisy while eating nana’s bread while grace come out with the soup.



Extra detail:to make the vegetable soup Grace select 1 onion,4 carrots,4 celery stalks,1 zucchini,3 potatoes and 2 tomatoes.
