Email Etiquette

Today we did cyber smart with Mr Ashurst. We had to watch a video that explains how to write a etiquette email. Then we had to make a dlo on how to write an etiquette email. There are 6 important things that you need you can do to try and help you with your emails.

Winter Solstice

Today me and Christopher learnt about the winter solstice. We had to make a animation on what a winter solstice is. Did you know that when it is summer the earth is tilted 23.5 degrees. And when it is winter some of the earth is not facing the sun.

Winter Solstice in Switzerland

Today me and Christopher learnt about the winter solstice in Switzerland and how they would celebrate it.  We had to use our research skills to find out the information about how the people in Switzerland. In Switzerland it is one of their favorite celebration because they get a lot of sun light and more heat.

The Legend of the Seven Sister's

Today me and Christopher learnt about the seven sisters. We had to watch a video that would relate the questions that we asked that we had to answer. Then we had to reference the website and the youtube video we got our information from.

Blackout Day

Today we celebrated blackout day by wearing black clothes or red. We did this to wish the All Blacks a great game against the Lion's. Then we went to the hall to record a video for the All Blacks. Then the Kapa haka group preformed the haka. After all that we where put into numbers to spell the All Blacks out then made a big rectangle to pass a rugby ball around.

For this task we had to write about how we could be healthhy in the Tamaki comunity. We had to find out diferent ways to be healthy.

Dance

Today at dance Zane was my partner because Jona was not here. So instead of just doing mine and Jona's  dance we combined our dance together. We where able to make a pretty good dance including the stair case. Then we where filmed to see if we could change anything. The only thing we need to do is try and face the camera.

How Much Rubbish We Are Dropping

In this graph it shows the amount of rubbish that the Auckland Council Community has found. It shows that there was a lot of snack food packaging. It also tells us that auto parts were the less amount of things that were found.

Soft Plastic

Today Mrs Caroline came in to present a presentation to us about soft plastic. In her presentation she tells us how we can recycle soft plastic and where you can take it. She also told us if you cant tell normal plastic and soft plastic apart you could scrunch it up if to is shaped as a ball its soft plastic if it is scrunched up then its plastic.

Read Theory

Today I did read theory. I scored 66% and the book I was reading was Granny's apple. In the stroy it explains how you can use granny's apple to cook delicious things. Next time I could improve on reading the questions properly.

Dance

Today we had dance. We started on recording us so we can see what we need to work on and to see if we where synced to the beat. Me and Jona had to work on the angles of our movement and to try get to the rhythm of the beat.

Today we had dance. We first started getting music for our dance the music had to be in sync with our dance so it was very difficult trying to find the perfect song. Then me and Jona got some inspiration from the clip that was shown to us.

If you are wondering about what a haiku is. 

well a haiku has 3 sentences. The top sentence have 5 syllables, the middle one have 7 syllables and the bottom one have 5 syllables again.
