This week for reading we have been learning about the WW1 nurses. We have read a text and found some vocabulary that we were unsure of, and made it into a short summary. Did you know that nurse's got the same attention as the soldiers?

Grey Angles
This week for reading we have been learning about nurses in WW1. Did you know that nurses got the same attention as the soldiers? We used our smart searching skills to find a nurse that helped the soldiers in WW1. Edith Cavell was a major part of WW1. She was incredibly famous after helping around 200 allies escape from the German occupied Belgium. Although she was later arrested and sentenced to death by German soldiers.
