I pack my bags for the trip. I am very excited for my first camp trip, I am traveling with my friends from school. We get to our campsite and I put down some food from my bag because my bag was really heavy. I  then gather wood for the campfire for tonight but there was one problem. I have already forgotten where I am in a matter of 15 minutes. I am feeling anxious and really scared. It feels like I am in a horror movie, When people get lost in the forest while you are getting chased. I feel like that person right now. I am trying to find the way out with a bag that is like a elephant on my back. I remember packing a map. I pull it out and unfolded it to see where I am at. I find my way through the forest but it doesn't really help me, because I was reading the map upside down so I went the opposite direction.  The sun was going down suddenly I see smoke rising up in the sky. I follow it to see if there are people to guide me back to the campsite. I soonely arrive and see people eating I realize they are my friends, I also realize that they are eating my food but never came to find me. But I am relieved that I have found my way out.

Princess Bride - Opening Scene

This Term for our media study we have been learning about the Princess Bride. For this activity we had to find out about prologue. Who are the characters introduced in the prologue? What is the setting of the main story? How is humor used to stop the scene from being too over the top and who are the main characters in the main story?

Hyperbole

Today I learnt the definition of hyperbole. We had to write a paragraph about how we had to get home with five pieces of hyperbole in the paragraph. We also had to try make the reader feel sorry for you and exaggerate about the situation.

Camp Diary

As I picked up my arrow and bow I placed my arrow on the holder and the end under the knot. I remembered the two F’s. I put one of my feet diagonal and one straight.

When I tugged my arrow against my face my index finger went above the knot and my middle finger and ring finger went under.

I let go while my eyes were closed. When I opened them I saw the arrow was not going as quick as I had thought it would and it was going crooked. I had really hoped the arrow was going to get the bulls eye.

The arrow was not supposedly going to hit the target so I just put my bow down in disappointment and then I heard a pop. I turned around and was surprised the balloon had popped. I thought it was skill but Zane thought it was luck.

Today I had to write about camp. I wrote about archery because it was one of my favourite things at camp.

How to be a agent of change

I can be a agent of change by letting people know by putting photos on bins that is understandable for people that are under five years old.A agent of change is someone that wants to change something that is bad.For example a person called Sally came to our school and talked about what is good for the drains and what's not.

One day me and Abdurahim went out and saw 0a strange looking house. Then I decided to go check the mansion out but Abdurahim said “no I refuse”. I didn’t care what he said. “I'm going in” .

Then Abdurahim Decided that he was brave enough to come with me. We Stood in front of the door and we both became nervous. I went in Nervously and Abdurahim followed reluctantly.

They both walked in and the door closed slowly behind us. I was not scared but Abdurahim was banging on the door.They couldn't get out,they were scared.

They heard voices in their head they quickly scrambled to find a place to get out but nothing.Furniture started to levitate,The fire place turnt on,doors started to open and close everything was possessed!!!

Smoke came in the room and took form of the smoke and became a demon he chased us around the house Abdurahim ran into a carpet that had a whole in it he jumped in and it led us outside Jericho went after him

They couldn't get out,they were scared.They heard voices in their head they quickly scrambled to find a place to get out but nothing.

Furniture started to levitate,The fireplace turnt on,doors started to open and close everything was possessed!!!

This is a narrative that the whole group had to find the TEE Title,Event and ending.We also had to take a screenshot before and after.

Once upon a time when the sun was going down Myself,Liam and Joshua were outside of our house and we were climbing a tree and one of the branches was shaped like a lever.Joshua climbed the tree and pulled the branch up.The branch went under the ground and it turned into stairs.We adventured down and we found a fallout shelter.

While we were looking through the fallout shelter we found a machine that was called the shape shifter.We went more deeper in the cave and there was a person that looked like Joshua recognised  to him .At first he thought it was his brother because he was in the darkness but he walked more forward.And Joshua thought it was his father but me and Liam thought someone used the shape sifter.Joshua’s dad that me and Liam thought that was the shape shifter he offered us some food me and Liam thought it was poison while Joshua was munching on it.Joshua’s dad showed us around but not the shape shifter Liam asked  why did you not show us the shape shifter.Then Joshua’s father turned into a spider.He tried to catch us in a web but he failed.

We ran trying to look for the exit while we was running we found a memory gun that could remove your memory.Joshua picked up the gun and hid behind a corner.The monster came running around the corner and Joshua shot the monster and the monster forgot what his name was and what happened.All of us left the fallout shelter and put a sign that said PLEASE LEAVE!!!!

All of us left and went inside to have tea.

Narrative writing of Fire House

House fire

Once upon a time there was a family called the universe family. In the family there was a 10 year old son called Kane and a daughter called Paige. Their mother's name was Becky and their father was called Jason. They lived in New Zealand. Then dad came home from work while the kids were playing on  there devices And becky was having a warm shower.And he was hungry he was hungry for steak. So he cooked his steak and ate it. After eating his steak, Dad felt tired and so he went to sleep. But the one thing he forgot was to turn the oven off.

While everyone was sleeping Kane went to have a glass of water and he smelt something burnt.He went to the kitchen and had his glass of water.When he left flames came from the oven.

When kane went to sleep flames caught onto the house started to burn down while it was coming down Jason woke and saw the house burning down.Jason woke up everybody to worn them to get up and get out of the house.

But when everybody was trying to get out of the house the wood collapsed and the wood fell on everybody but before they tried to get out they burned caused by the fire.

Analyzing a Narrative

Today my group and I analyzed a narrative.We had to read a story to fill out this document.My partner had to read out the story and once he came to one of the detail we highlighted it and I wrote the information into the the document.I learnt how to analyze a narrative.We did it because it would test out or skills for tomorrow because we have writing testing.I also learnt where the orientation is and the problems and the solution.
